Manufactured by Nihon Kendogu Seisakusho or NKS - ne of Japan's only workshops capable of producing 100% MADE IN JAPAN Kendogu - we present the NKS' best selling entry level model – SHIN-MUGEN. SHIN-MUGEN is reinforced using genuine Japanese ‘Aizome’ dyed Orizashi cotton, #8,800 grade cotton, and top-grade synthetic leather, and features an extremely comfortable, and protective 10mm 6mm pitch stitched Futon.
NKS' product design team designed SHIN-MUGEN to be an affordable, yet comfortable and protective Bogu set, aimed not only at new Kendoka, but also at those on a limited budget, looking for a second set – particularly for experienced practitioners who often act a Motodachi. The wide 10mm long-pitch creates a thick, well cushioned Futon that is also extremely flexible.
SHIN-MUGEN presents the culmination of generations of expertise in crafting premium Kendo equipment. The SHIN-MUGEN Kote are made, not only to your EXACT sizes and specifications, but they are made to – what we believe – to be the optimum design, allowing an unparalleled level of comfort, and ease of use. The cushioning provided by the 10mm stitching ensures that you get maximum protection, whilst retaining flexibility.
