Kendobutsu

The KENDOBUTSU are a group of friends created by our friends at Waipahu Seibukan and Aiea Taiheiji Kendo Clubs. California Budogu is proud to collaborate with them to showcase the adorable characters Nyantou, Takatou, Hayatou, and Akatou – along with our new OFFICIAL mascot, Caby the Capybara.

Proceeds from every Kendobutsu product directly support Hawaii’s young Kenshi, helping grow their local Kendo community and fund their journeys to tournaments and events. Each character has its own story, making them not only fun collectibles but also a meaningful way to support the next generation of Kendoka in Hawaii.

These five characters are currently available as collectible enamel pins, and California Budogu looks forward to featuring more Kendobutsu products in the future!
