These Chichikawa were designed in collaboration with DANNO-YA, the manufacturer behind our popular custom Zekken.

Featuring a beautiful Inden style Tonbo (dragonfly) pattern, each pair is individually handcrafted to order using premium Made-in-Japan materials, including TORAY suede in your choice of color. Stitching colors can also be customized to create a truly personal finish.

Each Chichikawa is handcrafted by Hiroyuki Danno, an accomplished artist who studied at Tokyo Zokei University, one of Japan’s leading institutions for art and design. A unique combination of traditional craftsmanship, artistic design, and modern customization - available exclusively through California Budogu.
