As with all of our Gold Label offerings, the GINZAME Bogu Set is crafted in collaboration with a team of experienced Budogu experts and craftsmen who bring decades of expertise to every detail. Each set is made-to-measure and tailored to your exact specifications, ensuring a perfect fit.

Crafted with a thicker Futon, master quality Takeshima #8800 base, and FULLY reinforced with premium cuts of Aizome-dyed deerskin, the GINZAME Bogu Set seamlessly combines beauty, protection, and durability. Designed to withstand years of intense practice, tournaments, and promotion exams, the set offers the unmatched performance needed for Kendoka of any level.

The understated Men showcases thick 10mm Gunomezashi stitching, paired with a wider Sashime pitch for enhanced cushioning and effortless shaping of a desired “Fuji” Mendare. Reflecting the craftsmanship of high-end Tezashi sets, the Menbuchi is meticulously assembled with 70 rows of Tojikawa stitching, offering superior durability and attention to detail. The Mengane, while slightly heavier, comes standard in Titanium, ensuring exceptional strength and a brilliant shine unmatched by Duralumin counterparts. This combination of durability and elegance makes the Men extremely protective, durable, and visually striking. 

The full deerskin Kote are an enhanced version of our popular California Budogu SAPPHIRE Kote, designed with a thicker Futon for superior protection. Filled with premium deer hair, the Kote-Atama provide exceptional mobility and comfort with the ability to mold perfectly to the shape of your hands over time. To suit your preferences, we offer a choice of white Ultrasuede or half-smoked deerskin palms, ensuring a tailored feel for every Kendoka.

The deerskin Tare combines a timeless, traditional shape with modern functionality. It features distinctive 10mm Naname-Gunomezashi pitch stitching on the panels, paired with a thick yet shapable Futon. This unique combination offers enhanced flexibility fused with a contemporary aesthetic, allowing you to shape the Tare effortlessly from day one. As with all our premium sets, the Tare includes lowered top Kazari-Ito for improved durability and elegance. This design minimizes contact with the Do, reducing the risk of rubbing or disheveling the decorative stitching. Additionally, the first 5cm of the Tare Obi are reinforced with deerskin to prevent fraying, ensuring lasting quality.

The entire Bogu set is infused with antishock and antibacterial TASTEX-MGU for extra protection and cleanliness.

The GINZAME Bogu Set stands out with its signature white Yabane accents as standard, complemented by white Tenchi, Mimikawa, and Yamachi threading. For those seeking a personalized touch, the color scheme can be adjusted for a subtler look (or an even bolder statement!), or even removed entirely—while maintaining the base design’s elegance and integrity.
