Washable Kote are nothing new in the world of Budogu, but many synthetic options on the market lack the authentic look and feel of traditional Aizome-dyed materials. Often made from polyester or other synthetics, they tend to have an unnatural shine that sets them apart from standard Kote. Until now!

The AQUAMARINE Kote are a new addition to our lineup, inspired by our popular all-purpose Amethyst Kote. These innovative Kote are crafted with a high-quality polyester-based material that closely resembles traditional Orizashi cotton, making them virtually indistinguishable from standard Kote.

A standout feature of the AQUAMARINE Kote is the use of Aqua-Mieue DC felt, developed by the Asahi Kasei Corporation. This advanced antibacterial felt is designed to regulate temperature—keeping you cool during the summer and warm in the winter. Unlike many synthetic Kote and uniforms that develop unpleasant odors from sweat and moisture, the Aqua-Mieue material effectively prevents the buildup of ammonia or vinegar-like smells, ensuring lasting freshness!

The AQUAMARINE Kote combines a timeless 8mm design with modern materials to deliver unmatched performance and durability. Crafted with synthetic Orizashi and reinforced with synthetic leather Herikawa, these Kote are designed to withstand rigorous practice while maintaining a sleek and authentic look. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: While these Kote are washer and dryer safe, we strongly recommend hand washing and air drying whenever possible to maintain their durability and quality. If using a washing machine, place them in a net and select a low cycle to minimize potential wear and tear.
