The JADE Bogu set by California Budogu is a brilliantly designed option for Kendoka looking for an all-purpose Bogu set – providing protection, durability, and comfort for everyday practice, while being light enough for travel and competition. While being one of the absolute best options for a first set, the JADE Bogu set is a fantastic option as a practice set or spare for top level competitors and high ranking Sensei as well!

The 6mm Men is reinforced with quick drying Aizome dyed Orizashi fabric, and features durable synthetic leather in areas subject to the most wear and tear, such as the Herikawa and Ago. The overall design is intentionally simplistic, being based on traditional designs.

The Mendare and feature Gunomezashi - an aesthetically pleasing method of stitching where an additional off-set row of stitches (3mm) is inserted between the standard rows of stitching (6mm). This gives the 3mm portions on the Mendare more durability and rigidity - allowing the user to easily mold the Men to a desirable shape.
