About Waipuna Designs

Founded by Hawai‘i-based artisan Nami Matsumoto-Kane, Waipuna Designs transforms repurposed and upcycled textiles into one-of-a-kind creations. Inspired by her son and the Kendo community, Nami breathes new life into vintage Aizome and Orizashi fabrics, crafting pieces that are as beautiful as they are functional.

Custom designs and special orders are available upon request—each item made with ALOHA.
