Fully reinforced with lightweight Orizashi and high quality synthetic leather where durability is needed the most, the AMETHYST is stitched using a unique Nagazashi (long pitch-style) method. Based on designs that have become extremely popular in Japan with both beginners and Yudansha - as well as Japanese Police teams and high level Sensei - the AMETHYST is a fantastic option for those looking for a well-made and comfortable Bogu set at a reasonable price.

The AMETHYST is reinforced with top-quality quick drying Aizome dyed Orizashi fabric, antibacterial and shock absorbing TASTEX-MGU infused within the inner padding and Uchiwa, and synthetic leather reinforcements where durability is needed the most. The entire Bogu set requires little to no break in time, and can easily be used straight out of the box. The Nagazashi style 8mm stitching on portions of the Men and Futon give the Bogu set both the appearance and protection of more traditional Tezashi (hand-stitched) Bogu sets, while the 4mm Nanamezashi on the Mendare allow the Men to be shaped easily for optimum comfort.
