The Higo Aizome Mifune Workshop is a workshop that specializes in genuine Aizome indigo craftsmanship in Mifune-Cho, a small town in Kumamoto prefecture, The ancient tradition of Aizome has been passed on for generations, not only for the beauty of it's color, but for the anti-inflammatory health benefits that the dye is said to provide. The With over 90 years of history, the Higo Aizome Mifune Workshop is one of the few remaining genuine Aizome workshops in all of Japan. 

Made in Japan - specifically for the local Dinosaur museum in Mifune!

These Tenugui are made using 100% genuine Aizome dye. Each Tenugui is dyed individually, and no two are exactly alike. The shade of indigo and "stains" on the design may vary.

IMPORTANT: Color may leak/stain objects and the wearer. It is recommended that the product is washed by hand.
