Deluxe DOBARI Shinai (Set of 3)

These Dobari (also known as Jissengata) Shinai feature a large 'DOU.' The balance of these Shinai are designed to keep the weight towards the hands, making the tip feel light, allowing for sharp, fast strikes to made with precision and ease.

Each Dobari / Jissengata Shiai is made from a single bamboo plant, which provides the four slats with the best flexibility and durability.

Available in both Keichiku and Madake!

Keichiku: A Taiwanese species of bamboo known to be more flexible. 
Madake: A Japanese species of bamboo known to be harder.
